May Resident of the Month

Get to know our May Resident of the Month, Jennie Lair!

This month, we celebrate Jennie Lair, also known as, "Jennie with a J." She was born in Mason, West Virginia, on December 10th, 1950. Jennie has lived all over the United States but mainly in Ohio, including Pomroy, Middleport, Circleville and Columbus. Her favorite hobbies include taking care of flower beds and gambling. She loves to go to Las Vegas to gamble!



Growing up, Jennie knew she wanted to have a career dealing with numbers and talking on the phone. Jennie graduated from America’s School of Technology and ended up having a multitude of work experiences. She worked at Gold Circle in customer service, delivered the Columbus Dispatch and finished her career at Pediatric Associates, where she did scheduling.

Jennie has three sons and has always had dogs. She is a big sports fan, always loving the OSU Buckeyes and the Bengals. Jennie absolutely loves pizza, and her favorite color is purple. Her favorite memory is when she met her husband. They were married for 36 years before he passed away. Her one piece of advice is, "Don’t retire!"
