Environmental Services Week

This week is Environmental Services Week this is a time to show appreciation for the dedicated EVS personnel that ensure healthcare facilities across the country are clean, safe places for residents, their families, and other staff members. With all the challenges and changes the last few years have brought, these staff members have remained resilient in their efforts to protect others from dangerous pathogens.

Our EVS team is led by Tracy Shuley, we are so lucky to have her. Our entire team is amazing, they keep our building clean and fresh, every day!!

Spotlight on Tracy Shuley, she worked as a waitress when she was just 14 years old. She is a local girl working at Richey’s in Utica. She chose to work in this industry because she started working at Knox Community Hospital as a housekeeper. She has been doing housekeeping for 25 years and 11 of it has been supervising. She says she could describe her career in just these 3 words, love, appreciation, and smiles. Tracy has 2 daughters, and 4 granddaughters, and 7 cats, she adores her family and her fur babies.
