May Employee of the Month

Johnstown Pointe is happy to announce our May Employee of the Month, Mindy Ferrell! This month, we are celebrating Mindy and all the ways that make her a great caretaker!

Mindy is currently working at Johnstown Pointe as an STNA in our Nursing Department. She started her career in the Laundry Department at another facility and worked there for a short time before being told that she would make a wonderful Nursing Assistant because she is so caring and energetic!



Mindy is passionate about her career as an STNA because she loves the feeling of being needed. She describes her career as enjoyment, being wanted and liked. Her favorite thing about her career is seeing the residents smile. She cherishes the time to sit down and talk with them and learn about their past.

In her free time, Mindy enjoys reading, walking, and being a mother. Mindy loves spending time with her two children and dog. She also loves watching sports. She is a big Green Bay fan and loves Buckeyes football too. Her favorite travel destination is anywhere there is water.
