Meet Johnstown Pointe’s January Employee of the Month, Brenda Williams!
Brenda is one of our awesome RNs and has been a nurse for 32 years. Her first job in this industry was as an LPN. Brenda’s motto in life is,
"Do what’s right, even when it’s hard." Brenda loves working with and helping the elderly. She finds her career to be fulfilling, challenging and rewarding. There are so many reasons why Brenda loves her career. One is the flexibility that it offers. There are so many areas to work in, something that works for everyone. She enjoys working with all the different personalities too. She strives to inspire others to accept each other and their different skill set.
Her favorite memory from her career was meeting an older couple and realizing she had taken care of their mother over 25 years ago. She reminisced about how kind she was as a patient. What a small world!
One of Brenda's favorite things to do is travel! She's been all over the world, including Italy, Greece, Puerto Rico, London, Germany and Mexico. Her favorite place to travel is anywhere warm. Brenda is married to Larry and they have three wonderful children together. They are also lucky enough to have four grandchildren, which include a set of twins and two dogs named Millie and Maggie.
