February Employee of the Month

Johnstown Pointe is honored to recognize Misty Burwell as our February Employee of the Month!

Misty is one of our hardworking STNAs here at Johnstown Pointe. She is glad to have found her true calling in healthcare as a State Tested Nursing Assistant. Misty began her career in healthcare after working as a cosmetologist. She chose to work in healthcare because of the hospice aide that cared for her grandmother. We love how fellow members of the industry are able to impact and inspire those around them, leading some people to their passion!



Misty shared that her career is rewarding, fulfilling and inspiring. She loves making a difference in a resident's day and hopes that she makes a difference in just one person’s life through her career choice. Her favorite memory from her career so far is the relationships she has made with the residents, their families and her coworkers.

Misty has been married for 24 years to her husband, Scott, and they've been together for 28 years. She has three children and four fur babies, who are pit bulls. Her favorite hobby is reading and she is very passionate about cancer research. She also loves OSU football!
