December Employee of the Month

Our team here at Johnstown Pointe is filled with amazing individuals that put their all into making our facility feel like a home for our residents. This month, we'd like to recognize an employee that stood out and made an impact among her co-workers and residents. Congratulations to our December Employee of the Month, Bailey Sanders!

Bailey is an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) here at Johnstown Pointe and has been here since the building first opened. Although she's amazing at what she does in therapy, this wasn't her first career. Prior to working at Johnstown Pointe, she pursued a career in fashion and worked at Abercrombie and Fitch. She ended up choosing a career in the healthcare industry because she says it's rewarding, and she loves learning new things and applying new ideas within her daily routine.



Bailey describes her career as humbling, fast-paced and rewarding. Her favorite thing about her job is working with patients, the anatomy and getting to know her residents. Some of her favorite memories of working at Johnstown Pointe are helping our residents during events at the facility.

When she's not at work, Bailey enjoys working out, going to church, shopping and binge-watching her favorite TV shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Dance Moms. She also loves being a mom and spending time with her three-year-old son, Carson, who's her whole world. Her favorite travel destination is California because of the scenery, luxury, dreams and chicken tacos that are to die for.

A few more interesting facts about Bailey are that she is adopted, she was born in Chicago and raised right here in Johnstown, Ohio, and she didn’t meet her birth mother until she was 18. She graduated from Zane State in 2020, was in a sorority (Phi Theta Kappa) and was the commencement speaker. Lastly, Bailey is a Johnnie to the core but also enjoys watching OSU and the Cowboys.
