August Employee of the Month

Another month goes by at Johnstown Pointe which means it's time to recognize another incredible employee that stands out and makes a difference every day. Please join us in congratulating Katherine Sorokin, our August Employee of the Month!

Katherine began her career in healthcare by working in a nursing home as an STNA 15 years ago. She chose to work in this field because she wanted to help people and have a skill set that could help her overseas. If she had to describe her career in two words it would be rewarding and ever-changing. Her favorite thing about her job is being able to brighten someone else’s day.

Katherine's favorite passtime, outside of work, is being with her children. She has been married for four years to her husband, Yegor. Together, they have two children and a third on the way! Katherine loves to travel. She has been to 32 countries and is still counting. She worked in Russia for nine and half years in an orphanage with disabled children. They became her own little ones. This is where she met her loving husband. They then moved to Moscow together before moving to Columbus, Ohio. She misses being overseas but loves the people she has met so far at Johnstown Pointe.
